Assignment 8 A Line: As a Relation to my Body

Part 1 Introduction

Total Time: 2 hours

Materials:

Newsprint 18x24, DrawingPad 18x24, lipstick, watercolor

I used my hands, my feet and my lips to finish this project. This is one of my favourite projects in this semester! It reminds of my childhood.

About the blossom tree,

Flowers: I used my left hand to put the lipstick on my hand then spread it by rotating my fingers on the paper. The color of the flower is different. Therfore I did not use the full color of my lipstick.

Tree trunk: I put some brown watercolor on my both hands, then I dipped my hand into the water, press and wave my hands to spread on the paper.

I put some Rose Violet on my right feet then spread it by my finger, dipped into the water, press onto the drawingpad finally. The foot means the footmark of the lovers which they had already been there.

About the background, I put lipstick on my mouth and then kiss onto the drawing pad. It took me half an hour to do that. This meanings the lovers they kiss under the blossom tree.

I really enjoyed this project. I love my work.
